Hi babydolls! My summer heart gets very nostalgic at this time of year when I feel this season slowly subsiding. In Paris we are in an indian summer, September 1st brought us warmer weather of all things and sun and skies so pure it makes me giddy. This summer was so special to me traveling the world, making memories with old friends and new ones, and rediscovering my independence in more ways than one. Sometimes when we’re serious when we’re young, we build invisible borders around our life that we let govern us for too long, forgetting how much freedom we really can have. With just a little vacation and throwing our responsibilities to the wind for a short while we rediscover our summer hearts…our free spirits, our spontaneity, our inner water baby, our eternal youth. We come back from our adventures wearing our freckles and tan lines knowing well they too will soon fade away like the summertime…

Above are just some left over photos from some but not all of my summer travels around the globe. I wish I could spend almost all my time in the sun and water for sport and relaxation with friends followed with hot summer nights dancing, drinking, and laughing way too much. But I guess if we could do that every day it would be taken for granted. I hope your summer was filled with adventure. Maybe you’ll share some of it with us here in the comments or on twitter, facebook, and tumblr. Byebye for now dears! P.S. I got a very nice shootout in the favorite style bloggers section of Matchbook Mag this month. Please visit the new issue if you haven’t already.
