Hi baby dolls! Ca va? How was the weekend? I love the Musée Carnavalet. It’s like a little mini Versailles just right up the street from my place. Most of the museum is free so I stop in now and then just to admire the lovely decors and occasional exhibitions. Currently there is an incredible exhibition on the history of Louis Vuitton and Paris. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to take pictures inside because they were prohibited, but on display are over a hundred of Louis Vuitton’s classic trunks, custom designed for the elite of two centuries passed. The detail and thought given to each one of these pieces was extraordinary. Up close filled with brushes, polishes, fine silver, shoes, lingerie and more each personal item has a space carved specifically for it in these trunks that have travelled the world. Incredible seeing the craftsmanship that still goes into the Louis Vuitton goods, from hand stitched bags to hand painted shoe soles. If you live in or are stopping through Paris you must visit it. Funny enough I am wearing another vintage item inherited from my aunt DeeDee just like in the last post! She gave me these high waisted white Banana Republic slacks from the 80′s that I am trying to breath some new life into. I am also wearing a Moschino shirt that reads “Women always like bows!”, Repetto heels, H&M headbands, Coach belt, and Miu Miu bag. And now…..DRUMROLL PLEASE!
