Petticoat!

Hi babydolls! When did we stop wearing things like petticoats? There’s nothing like the same boxy wool coat everyday to really make a winter wardrobe feel drab. So I threw in a petticoat to add some shape, some booties and a beret!

The Coveteur

Hi babydolls! Do you know The Coveteur? I am sure you do! I love the vignettes the girls create of some of the world’s most coveted closets. I was feeling inspired by them so I thought I would do my own little shoot of my closet in their sort of style of photography. I love how they neatly group and arrange objects by designer, color, feel etc. Obviously my closet does not compare to the people they feature but I pulled out some of my favorite things for fun and played around…

Wannabe Miu Miu shoes from ebay that don’t even have a brand name, Miu Miu bag, Miu Miu wallet, Bijoux de Sophie skull necklace, home made pink cameo ring. 2. blue Asos feather cape, pink Manoush feather vest, vintage white feather vest, vintage black beaded purse, Juicy Couture blue fur purse, same shoes from 1, and Jeffrey Campbell litas. 3. All my jewelry which is way too much to list! 4. Le Boudoir

Hi baby dolls! All this time sick has got me thinking about the simple pleasure of just being in bed. There is something so magical about plopping down in layers of down pillows and soft cotton. My dream little bed nook is adorned in pastel silk and satins, and faux fur blankies beneath a canopy complete with twinkle lights for my own private night sky. I’ve been looking at the Paris Apartment‘s Tumblr called Boudoir to find inspiration for the little bedroom I am constructing at my new apartment. I’ll share that with you all as soon as it’s ready but all the photos there had me feeling inspired to take these little photos and capture the soft magic of this ritual place we often never reflect upon in day to day life.

So much to do this week! Renovations began on my new Paris apartment. A little bit nerve wrecking tearing down the wall and putting up another. After that floors, kitchen, then the walk in closet! Yay…I am posting some not very pretty but none the less entertaining photos of the renovations on my Twitter so do follow me there and my Facebook fan page!
