I miei amici! Here I am in the city of Matera in Southern Italy living the sweet life…la dolce vita! Late last night this spectacular town came up on me glowing atop these ancient cliffs. I was welcomed with open arms by locals and new friends waiting for me on a twinkling terrace with wine and food. It’s like a dream. My room looks out upon the most spectacular scenery, the ancient city behind me and the breathtaking landscape before me. Before revealing to you this special place I thought I would share a personal style post. I am always so excited to plan my travel wardrobe. In such a beautiful traditional place, I feel it’s only fitting to embrace the romance of it all with flowing skirts and large brim hats. Don’t you agree?
