Weekends at the Buttes Chaumont…the weather has been so good it almost doesn’t seem fair. Grass beneath our feet and sun our faces, braiding each other’s hair . Hours pass with Pentaxes, polaroids, and pens by our sides, and my little muses there to keep me company. I wish we could spend every sunny day here reading Caroll and Fitzgerald and snapping pretty pictures but monday always comes too soon. See you around on my twitter and facebook this week baby dolls, and thanks a million for the many smiles you bring to my face everyday with your comments.

Ina & Agnes

Happy Monday mes chéries! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I am bringing you some serious eye candy to start off your week. Here in Paris we have been busy with a little thing called fashion week. Normally I avoid the stylish storm that it is and just sort of go about my normal lifestyle, but this season I was privileged to participate in a bit more fun, including J’aime Mon Carré at Colette , getting shot by some street style blogs, and a drop dead fabulous afternoon with Ina Soltani showing off her latest collection. Ina’s line is a mix of delicious colors, textures, and textiles perfectly tailored into the most amazing selection of dresses I have ever feasted my eyes upon…each one more fabulous than the next! Ina needed someone as beautiful and lively as her clothes to wear them for the day and model Agnes Madsen fell into her lap like a little swedish angel from the sky. We had the best time playing dress up and the two truly turned out to be a match made in heaven!

Couldn’t have had more fun with them as well as Agnes’ beautiful sister and my darling friend Anna, who I must mention took like a pro to my camera snapping many of the pictures above! Ina’s line is a favorite of celebrities and it girls on the red carpet, and speaking of it girls…I’d say pretty soon everyone will be forgetting Agyness Deyn and talking about Agnes Madsen!

Les Filles

It’s Friday again and I am wishing I could be back in last weekend with my best girl friends in town. Pauline and Sofia are spending the semester in Rome and London and have left Samantha and I here to stir up trouble all on our own. Last weekend we were reunited for a cold and rainy yet lovely several days together. If you follow my twitter then you were well up to date on all the fun festivities. The Marais is our home, and after two years in France us American Girls are starting to become some real francaises! We started Saturday off at one of our favorite spots for brunch, Le Loire Dans La Theiere. We strolled and did some shopping in the quartier, including the amazing annual vintage fair taking place just up the street. There was plenty of Dior, Lanvin, Chanel, and more to be had but we all managed to escape with nothing more than some photos. Press play…

You all know how exhausting eating and shopping can be (ooo to live the life of leisure!) so we headed home for a nap in our petit apartment which we shared cozily for the weekend. Sunday came so fast and we had to scatter back to our respective european capitals for the next couple weeks. For now mes filles, vous me manquez et je vous aime!
