Hi! Late October photos of Paris by night. I took these the other night at a beautiful autumn party hosted at Sofia and Chris‘s place for Samantha’s birthday. We had pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting, cinnamon whiskey cocktail concoctions, and beautiful autumn hors d’oeuvres put together by Sofia. I snapped some pictures on the way home of the full moon and nightscapes. Thought they would be good to kick off a Halloween mood…

What I Wore…to Sunday brunch

Hi babydolls! We have decided that there will be a new brunch club…anyone is welcome. Even if you’re too lazy on a Sunday and you sleep through brunch, as long as you manage to make it here and there you can be in the brunch club. This week it was Meg and Caroline (who both of which I failed to snap pictures of as I wasn’t exactly planning this post!), Sofia, and Christophe.  We checked out Le Petit Resto dans la Prairie in the 10th…and it’s was great! Meg did a wonderful post on it so if you want to know and see more visit her blog.

Meg fell in love with the bunny bowl above, and I fell in love with the french toast. The lovers and I decided to stroll home it was such beautiful day and Chris and Sofia played photographer for a style snap of my sunday best.

My friends are so stylish and photogenic! Le sigh! Every sunday should be like this…which is why we are making The Brunch Club. I’ll be sure to let you know what’s on the menu for this week as well! Another Borough

Brooklyn that is! I guess I used to be a West Village gal but ever since my big sister moved to Brooklyn it seems the only place I really feel at home in NYC. You can leave downtown to the bridge and tunnel and uptown to the gossip girls because Brooklyn has my heart. I love this more casual, calm, and dare I say authentic New York borough now and thus was more than happy to spend almost my entire visit as a Brooklyn babe. Thanks to Mariell through whom I was reminded of this song…

A couple of you asked me to post my favorite spots in Brooklyn and I am more than happy to oblige! Of course I wouldn’t have discovered them without the help of my sister’s and friend’s suggestions! For breakfast or lunch head to Bakeri or Egg. For shopping new check out Bird and for vintage Beacon’s Closet. For dinner eat your heart out at Fette Sau and Five Leaves, and then for drinks and a party stop into Enid’s or Night of Joy. New York, I love you! I’ll be back soon but for now I am home in Paris, which I will be blogging about again soon. So excited for la rentrée…this year is going to be epic…just wait and see!
