Hi, I’m Haleigh! I’m sixty going on sixteen running around the world running my own business trying to avoid being too serious. I like mythical creatures, pastels, whiskey on ice, big hair, champagne, dancing till the sun rises, sleeping in silks, baby animals, absurdist humor, existential literature, Raoul Dufy, Brigitte Bardot, dia de los muertos, boys with accents, girls that giggle, my family and my friends. For now I call Paris home…but home is really just where my closet is. The world is my oyster and I’m shucking for pearls! Lastly I’m American mais oui, je parle francais.
This blog is my diary, a small percentage of my big picture but never the less pieces of my life, reality and fictions, ups and downs, hopes and dreams come true. Take it for what it is but more or less it’s a hodge podge timeline of facts and daydreams. And the magique? Oh, the magique! Life my friends is full of the daily grind, work and commutes, bosses and bullies. Between that all are our glimpses of our freedoms, our moments of pure bliss and true romance, pretty little messes and occasional picture perfect perfections.
