I recently met My Chatelles when I had the pleasure of visiting their new Paris showroom. In a quest for a chicer alternative to the all too played out and often impractical ballerina, my new friends at My Chatelles created what I think is the perfect slipper. It talked a bit to their founder Francois, who launched the line only this August and has since had a warm welcome to the world of women’s fashion. He told me about the delicately engineered curves of the shoes to give a feminine silhouette and the manufacturing process and quality materials that are made to be pranced many a mile in. They’re pretty, they are practical, and they are personal coming in a beautiful variety and colors and materials that can be adorned with tassels and monograming of your choice. The site is so fun to play around on with all the possibilities. Above all, I think they’re very fairly priced for a high quality shoe we can wear everyday. I definitely thought they were worth sharing here with you!

You know what ? It’s YOU who converted me to slippers ! Before, i thought it was so “vieux jeu”… but now I can’t spend a week without wearing them… So you can imagine how i like these article ! Can’t wait to see them in action !

My feet are constantly cold, and I always wear slippers around the house! I bought a pair here in Paris just last week, but they’re not half a cute as these. What a pretty assortment!
