Vena Cava’s latest “Fashion Film” for their Viva Vena! line featuring Lizzy Caplan and some super cute clothes. It’s directed by Matthew Frost who is one of my favorite photographers and directors. If you don’t know him by name then surely you know this clever little film for Jalouse he made with Ashley Smith not long ago? I love how he always makes fun of Godard references and lots of other hipster clichés.
Dreaming about and maybe even signing up for my very talented friend Leela Cyd‘s photography workshop in Florence this May! The week-long journey is organized around learning approaches and techniques to shooting interiors, foods and portraits (and drinking amazing wines, giggling, persuing creative dreams and eating divine foods!). Everything you need to know about the trip and making it happen is available here!
Falling in love with Mermaid…a mysterious, romantic, and ethereal scented collection of fragrance and candles. The design, concept, and smell are all so beautiful. The whole collection is on it’s way to me in the mail right now.
Whipping up one of these delicious gluten free vegan caramel smoothies by Lookbook Cookbook (a favorite site of mine!), wherever I’m looking for something sweet.
Starting a diary tumblr (like mine here!) to remind you of all the things in your daily life that makes you lucky to be you. My blog here is to showcase my photography, but my diary tumblr is like a scrapbook to collect my instragrams, photos of friends that don’t fit into specific stories told here, and even quotes of things my friends have said to me that I just love. Whenever I feel lame or sad I just go there and look at all the fun stuff I get to do and the great people I get to share it with and it cheers me up. I think everyone should have a memory board like this!

I love these little lists :) And I would looove to sign up for that photography trip to Florence. A real dream vacation!
Best, Carin

Ciao Carin,
I’m Bianca and I co-host the photography trip to Florence with photographer Leela Cyd Ross.
To design this trip to Italy we asked ourselves: “what would be the ultimate creative girls getaway?” Then we made it!
Photographing pretty things, eating, hanging, riding a bike through olive groves, laughing and staying in the artists quarter of Florence in a 16th century palazzo. It’ll be the bomb.
I’ve lived in Italy so I curate the best to share with you!
Write me if you have any questions.
A special thank-you to Haleigh for sharing this. Grazie!
xx Bianca

Tumblr is indeed the perfect diary. I’m been beefing mine up lately, and I just love all the inspiration in one place!
Loved this post. I’m also making my own diary using tumblr as the platform, and that photography workshop is so perfect, I wish I could attend to it. But… Going back to my harsh reality it won’t happen, maybe in my dreams I shall. :-)
Have a nice week ahead! Xx
Wow, I just had another look at your tumbler, and I discovered your Instagram picture of the Eiffel tower in the snow, which is almost exactly like my Instagram picture of the Eiffel tower in the snow! Look: http://instagram.com/p/UqjuRuoL90/
Sure, the tower would look the same, but they really are very similar. How fun!
These posts are lovely, by the way. I hadn’t seen the Jalouse films, so thanks! I wish you a great week!
