I love high-low dresses…the way they blow in the breeze and trail behind you as you walk. They’re for modern princesses and everyday goddesses, bringing a bit a poetry to the wardrobe. I wore this one at L’hotel Meurice in Paris last month, it’s from Rebelle, of course along with everything else I am wearing. Which might I add is all marked down 25% until Monday to celebrate our 1000 Facebook fans!  See you on facebook, twitter. and tumblr.

I’ve been doing more and more photography professionally lately, which means on my own time I don’t take my camera out as much to tell stories. I guess for a lot of people it’s a dream or career to be paid for your pictures. I thought it would be for me too, but I don’t like it all. There are people that will let you be an artist, but most others hire you for your creativity and then stomp it out. I miss the way I used to approach the lens before and I want to work on getting it back. In the meantime, nothing spectacular but here are some pics around Paris of random things I have managed to snap in the moment.

I found this postcard in a junk shop in Paris two years ago. It was amongst a stack of old papers and I thought “Wow, I wonder where this is…I want to go there someday.”  It’s still on my bucket list and I kept catching myself looking at it from time to time trying to figure out where it’s from. Then I finally realized how stupid I had been and that indeed it was written right on the back all along: Schwetzingen. Funny thing is, it’s not far at all. I could drive there, in fact I think I finally will this summer. Who would have thought in the middle of a junk shop I would find my fairytale?
